Job summary

Kroger is seeking an Assistant Store e-Commerce Manager to support day-to-day operations of the store's e-Commerce department. You will help ensure ease of shopping, maintain order fulfillment, and uphold Kroger's values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

You will supervise selectors and customer attendants, train staff, act in charge when the manager is unavailable, help with scheduling, manage order intake and workflow, print labels, troubleshoot equipment, and

Qualifications

• Proven supervisory experience.
• Ability to read shelf tags.
• Basic knowledge of computers.
• Excellent oral/written communication skills.
• Basic math skills (i.e., counting, addition, and subtraction).
• Self-directed with the ability to execute projects with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store e-Commerce manager in day-to-day operations.
• Meet/exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness and cleanliness.
• Ensure team members follow laws, safety and company guidelines.
• Perform responsibilities of selectors and customer attendants as needed.
• Train all functions of selector and customer attendant roles.
• Act as person in charge of e-Commerce when manager is unavailable.
• Assist with scheduling to meet operational and associate needs.
• Maintain intake of customer orders and distribute work to staff.
• Print and distribute order labels, including perishable orders.
• Troubleshoot e-Commerce equipment and devices.
• Maintain supplies and organize staging areas and equipment.
• Report discrepancies to the store e-Commerce manager.
• Perform required opening and closing procedures.
• Learn and implement process improvements.
