Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies in Brentwood, TN is seeking an Store e-Commerce Assistant Manager to support day-to-day operations of the store's e-Commerce department.

You will supervise team members, ensure compliance with policies, train staff, and assist with ordering, scheduling, reporting, and process improvements while upholding our values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Qualifications

• Must have proven supervisory experience.
• Must be able to read shelf tags.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
• Basic math skills including counting, addition, and subtraction.
• Self-directed with the ability to execute projects with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Meet/exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness and cleanliness.
• Ensure team members follow applicable laws, food safety procedures and company guidelines.
• Perform responsibilities required of selectors and customer attendants as needed per guidelines.
• Train all functions and duties of the selector and customer attendant roles.
• Act as the person in charge of the e-Commerce department when the Store e-Commerce manager is unavailable.
• Assist with scheduling to meet operational and associates’ needs.
• Maintain intake of customer orders and distribute work to selectors and attendants.
• Print and distribute order labels, including perishable orders.
• Troubleshoot e-Commerce equipment and devices.
• Maintain supplies needed to perform duties.
• Keep staging areas and equipment organized and clean.
• Report pricing, scanning, item location discrepancies and temperature issues to the manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Learn and implement process improvements as directed by division/enterprise team.
• Provide feedback on daily performance and annual reviews.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
• Ability to manage conflict professionally.
• Maintain honesty and integrity with customer and business information.
• Follow directions and seek help to resolve issues.
• Provide support when interacting with minors, individuals with special needs, and/or older adults.
• Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without accommodation.
