Job summary

NewsBreak is seeking an ambitious Account Executive (E-commerce) to drive growth with brand advertisers and agency partners. This full-cycle role covers prospecting, closing new business, onboarding, and ongoing account expansion of top ecommerce clients.

You will engage with DTC brands and media agencies, delivering strategic, data-driven pitches and managing onboarding with cross-functional teams. A track record of hitting quotas and deep understanding of ROAS and retail media are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-cycle sales and/or account management experience in Ad Tech, E-commerce, or Retail Media.
• Proven history of consistently exceeding quota and growing existing account revenue.
• Deep expertise in digital advertising metrics (CPM, CPC, ROAS, CAC, LTV) and familiarity with Meta, Google, TikTok, Amazon Ads.
• Growth mindset and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• Outstanding presentation, negotiation, and written communication skills; ability to simplify complex technical products into high-value commercial solutions.

Responsibilities

• Drive New Business Revenue: Own the end-to-end sales cycle, targeting DTC brands, e-commerce sellers, and media agencies.
• Prospect & Qualify: Build a robust pipeline through outbound prospecting, networking, and leveraging industry contacts.
• Deliver Strategic Pitches: Conduct discovery calls, deliver product demonstrations, and present data-driven business cases to VP and C-level marketing executives.
• Lead Onboarding: Partner with Account Management and Campaign Operations for seamless advertiser onboarding and campaign launches.
• Pipeline & Forecast Management: Maintain forecast accuracy and log all sales activity in the CRM.
