Taylored Expressions, based in Ankeny, IA, is seeking an Ecommerce & Digital Experience Specialist to enhance how customers discover products and complete purchases online. You will work with marketing, creative, and product teams to launch promotions, improve merchandising, and boost conversion while keeping the site running smoothly.

You’ll analyze customer behavior and performance data to drive continuous improvements, with a focus on usability, product discovery, and a delightful shopping

Qualifications

• 2+ years in ecommerce, website management, or digital merchandising.
• Hands-on experience with BigCommerce or Shopify.
• Understanding of how product presentation, navigation, and conversion work.
• Strong technical aptitude with attention to detail.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities and collaborate across teams.
• Excellent writing and proofreading within a brand voice.

We're looking for an Ecommerce & Digital Experience Specialist who can help make shopping with Taylored Expressions as inspiring and enjoyable as creating with our products.

This is an opportunity for someone who loves the intersection of technology, ecommerce, and customer experience. Someone who enjoys making websites work better, understands what makes customers click, explore, and buy, and gets satisfaction from turning small improvements into meaningful results.

What You'll Do

You’ll own and continually improve our online shopping experience, making it easier for customers to discover products, find inspiration, and confidently make a purchase.

Working closely with our marketing, creative, and product teams, you'll bring new product launches and promotions to life online, strengthen digital merchandising, and find opportunities to improve website usability, product discovery, and conversion.

You’ll also help keep our ecommerce experience running smoothly, solving problems, exploring new tools and capabilities, and using customer insights and performance data to make the experience better over time.

• More visitors become customers. Improvements to product discovery, merchandising, and the shopping experience contribute to stronger conversion and sales.

What You'll Bring

• 2+ years of experience in ecommerce, website management, digital merchandising, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with an ecommerce platform such as BigCommerce, Shopify, or a similar system.
• An understanding of what makes an online shopping experience effective, from product presentation and navigation to conversion.
• Strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and a natural curiosity for solving problems.
• The ability to balance multiple priorities, collaborate across teams, and take ownership of your work.
• Strong writing and proofreading skills, and the ability to write in an established brand voice.
• A customer-first mindset and a desire to continuously learn and improve.

Bonus points if you have experience with website analytics, SEO, conversion optimization, A/B testing, or ecommerce merchandising tools. Social media scheduling and engagement experience preferred. Familiarity with paper crafting or the creative hobby community is a plus, but not required.
