Job description

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Who We Are:

Hey we’re Wildfang - and we’ve proudly been wearing the pants since 2013. Years ago we stumbled upon a mighty secret, which is that we can’t feel like our best selves unless we first feel like ourselves. So we built a fashion label for those who hate labels, and started a rebellion of sorts–dedicated to the belief that feeling comfortable in one’s own skin is an act of resistance.

That same lil’ rebel spirit comes through in all we do–from the community we’ve cultivated to the collection we’ve curated: bold suiting, reimagined workwear, and statement staples in sizes XS–4X. All the ‘fits in all the sizes because confidence isn’t one size fits all. We are a women founded, fast growing DTC fashion brand available online & at our Flagship store in Portland, OR.

Who You Are:

You are a strategic, highly analytical and experienced growth leader with a strong track record for growing consumer or DTC businesses. You connect the dots across the site experience, paid media, CRM, marketing comms, and creative to drive acquisition, conversion, and retention. A natural problem solver, you turn insights into clear strategies and are motivated by achieving goals and driving results. You are a strong people leader who sets a high bar, develops and inspires teams, and creates clarity and accountability. Highly organized and collaborative, you balance big picture strategy with hands‑on execution and thrive in a fast moving, growing business.

The ideal candidate is highly accountable, adaptable to change, and communicates effectively cross-functionally. You approach your work with strong ownership, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn, and are excited to support a growing brand.

Responsibilities + Duties:
  • Own the overarching acquisition and retention strategies, execution, and performance across paid media, CRM, site, and emerging digital channels. Develop channel strategies, investment priorities, audiences, segmentation, customer journeys and KPIs based on company growth and financial objectives.
  • Manage external agency partners responsible for paid media and CRM, setting clear strategies, goals, budgets, expectations, and performance standards.
  • Stay current on evolving platforms, consumer behavior, technology, measurement practices, industry trends and benchmarks, and emerging growth opportunities.
  • Own the ecommerce business and its overall performance, including revenue, conversion, traffic, AOV, customer behavior, site experience and other KPIs. Direct the customer journey across the digital experience, identifying opportunities to improve discovery, consideration, conversion, and repeat purchase.
  • Manage and develop the Senior Ecomm Manager to continually optimize site functionality, UX, merchandising, content, marketing, development, and overall customer experience.
  • Identify opportunities within existing channels and evaluate new channels, platforms, and growth strategies to achieve business goals. Continually evaluate channel incrementality and the role each channel plays in the broader consumer journey.
  • Lead the marketing go-to-market process, ensuring cross functional marketing, creative, ecommerce, and agency teams are aligned around business priorities, customer needs, timelines and performance objectives.
  • Translate company, product, and revenue priorities into clear marketing strategies and channel plans. Lead comms planning across site, email, SMS, paid media, and other customer touch points. Develop clear briefs that align teams, utilize data and identify measurement of success.
  • Lead with data and strategic insights, translating business performance into clear action and priorities. Regularly analyze and report business performance, identifying key drivers, risks, opportunities and actions.
  • Evaluate marketing performance beyond top-line ROAS, incorporating CAC, contribution margin, LTV, incrementality, and other measures of profitable growth.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the ecommerce team, including direct management of the Senior Ecommerce Manager. Effectively lead external agency partners and collaborate cross functionally with Creative, Brand, Product, Ops, and Finance to drive performance.
  • Set clear expectations, goals, ownership, and accountability across the team. Build a high-performing culture grounded in curiosity, collaboration, strong communication and continuous improvement.
Experience:
  • 8+ years of experience across ecommerce, growth marketing, digital marketing or related functions, with meaningful leadership experience.
  • Highly analytical with strong retail math and financial acumen; able to translate data into insights, strategies, and actions.
  • Deep understanding of customer and cohort analysis including acquisition, retention, LTV, CAC, repeat behavior and segmentation.
  • Advanced Excel skills with experience working with large and complex data sets.
  • Deep understanding of ecommerce, paid media, CRM, conversion, and digital marketing and consumer journeys.
  • Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms and digital ecosystems; Shopify experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven people leader with experience in hiring, developing teams, setting clear expectations and managing performance.
  • Highly organized with high attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communicator, able to clearly articulate strategy, insights, performance, and priorities across all levels of the organization.
