Job summary

AutoNation’s Houston team seeks a driven e-Commerce Sales Associate to guide customers online, by phone, and in-store through the vehicle purchase process. You will respond quickly to inquiries, present options, and help close deals in a no-haggle setting while ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

You will leverage strong communication and sales skills to meet targets, follow up with customers, and smoothly transition buyers to the Service department for ongoing ownership support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Drive to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Prior sales experience, retail preferred.
• Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Interact with online, phone and in-person customers to guide vehicle purchases in a no-haggle environment.
• Respond to leads in a timely fashion and provide information to help customers move from contact to in-store experience.
• Negotiate terms to meet customers’ budgets and preferences and close the deal.
• Follow up after purchase to ensure satisfaction and transition customers to the Service department.
