Job summary

AutoNation seeks an E‑Commerce Sales Associate to engage with customers online, by phone and in person to guide vehicle purchases in a no-haggle sales environment. You will respond to leads promptly, answer questions and help transition customers to an in-store experience while delivering exceptional customer care.

There is emphasis on strong communication, a desire to exceed expectations, and leveraging technology to close deals and build lasting loyalty across the customer journey.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Drive to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Prior sales experience, retail preferred.
• Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• The willingness to follow up with customers.
• Experience and desire to work with technology.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and an acceptable, safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Interact with hundreds of customers online, over the phone and in person to guide vehicle purchases.
• Respond to leads in a timely fashion and help transition customers to an in-store experience.
• Negotiate terms to align payments with customers’ budgets and lifestyles.
• Close deals and drive loyalty by following up to ensure satisfaction and service handoff.
