Job summary

AutoNation is seeking an e-Commerce Sales Associate to guide customers through vehicle purchases in a no-haggle environment. You will respond to leads online, on the phone, and in person, delivering an exceptional experience from initial contact to in-store visits.

The role emphasizes strong communication, proactive follow-up, and comfort with technology, with opportunities to grow into finance, management, or other tracks within AutoNation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Drive to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Prior sales experience, retail preferred.
• Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Willingness to follow up with customers.
• Experience and desire to work with technology.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Interact with hundreds of customers online, by phone and in person to guide their vehicle purchase.
• Respond to leads promptly and provide information to help guide customers from contact to in-store experience.
• Close deals and ensure customer satisfaction, transitioning to Service as needed.
• Maintain exceptional service and follow up to build loyalty.
