Job summary

Reed Smith LLP is seeking an E-Billing Specialist to manage client e-billing and account maintenance. You will oversee monthly e-bill submissions, ensure accuracy, and generate routine e-billing reports in a fast-paced law firm environment.

The role requires experience with Elite/3E, BillBlast, and other e-billing systems, along with strong MS Excel skills and a customer-focused approach. Denver office-based position with regular in-office hours.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Prior experience with e-billing or other accounting function preferred.
• Experience with Elite/3E, BillBlast and other e-billing systems preferred.
• Experience in a law firm or professional services environment a plus.
• Strong mathematical aptitude and the ability to organize multiple assignments and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• E-Bill invoices monthly for assigned clients and monitor submissions until payment is received.
• Proof electronic invoices for accuracy and generate monthly e-billing reports.
• Communicate with attorneys and Executive Assistants regarding invoice status and deductions.
• Update client and matter information in the 3E system to ensure compliance with e-billing guidelines.
• Assist with new electronic billing setups and matter ID submission approvals.
