Job summary

Reed Smith LLP is seeking an E-billing Specialist to manage client invoicing and maintenance of e-billing accounts. The role requires attention to detail, solid communication, and the ability to work with multiple e-billing platforms.

You will handle monthly invoicing, status communications, and updates in the 3E system, while supporting attorneys and Executive Assistants on billing matters. This position emphasizes accuracy and timely processing.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Accounting or equivalent experience preferred.
• Experience with e-billing systems (BillBlast, 3E/Elite) preferred.
• Experience in a law firm or professional services environment is a plus.
• Strong MS Excel skills and accounting software knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Process monthly e-bill invoices for assigned clients and ensure submission success.
• Proof electronic invoices for accuracy and generate monthly e-billing reports.
• Communicate invoice status with attorneys and Executive Assistants.
• Update client/matter information in the 3E system to ensure compliance with guidelines.
• Assist with inquiries and with new e-billing setups and matter IDs.
• Collaborate with AP/Chrome River for expense backup and with Collections on status.
