Job summary

Truist is seeking a Part Time Universal Banker in Ashburn, VA to provide timely client service and handle a variety of banking transactions. The role focuses on delivering a distinctive client experience and educating clients on digital self-service tools.

You will support sales and service activities, participate in outbound calls, and ensure compliance with policies while maintaining accurate records. Regular weekend/extended hours may be required, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education is required.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required, including temporary assignments or locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience to maintain a consistent service level while handling complex and standard transactions.
• Educate clients on digital, self-service solutions including ATMs, Online and Mobile banking.
• Support team sales by outbound client outreach, checking offers, and identifying needs for referrals to branch teams or specialists.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise and solutions for clients’ needs.
• Participate in all components of the Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Advance knowledge through meetings and training to better serve consumers and business clients.
• Adhere to internal controls, policies, procedures, and risk management guidelines.
• Serve as a secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution, offering applicable products and services.
