Job summary

Rush Enterprises Inc. is seeking a New Truck Sales Representative to solicit truck sales in an assigned territory, primarily in person, away from the dealership.

You will self-generate opportunities, manage 10-50 key accounts and 20-100 retail accounts, and build a strong pipeline by calling on customers, visiting sites, and coordinating with service and finance teams. The role requires a high school diploma, one year of related experience, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year related experience or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability per Rush requirements.

Responsibilities

• Self-generate prospective customers and opportunities.
• Maintain relationships in the territory with in-person visits at least 3 full business days per week.
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline with regular outside calls and follow-ups on quotes.
• Coordinate with service and finance/insurance departments to enable financing and after-sales processes.
• Promote and sell all services: Parts, Service, Body Shop, New and Used Trucks.
