Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires associate degree or 60 sem/90 quarter hours from PSC-approved institution.
• Must complete GCPS Substitute Teacher Training Program within 30 days of hire or possess a valid/expired teaching certificate or complete student teaching.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom instruction for the teacher of record.
• Conduct supervised small groups based on lesson plans.
• Maintain classroom management per teacher of record.
• Communicate with parents and staff as designated by the teacher of record.
• Follow Individual Education Plan (IEP) requirements and district policies.
