Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to direct store operations, drive sales, and inspire a team in a fast-paced environment. You will oversee perishable and non-perishable departments, manage inventory and personnel, and ensure safety and compliance across the store.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, customer service excellence, and the ability to execute company programs while maintaining high product knowledge and team engagement.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Business/retail management degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of retail experience or an acceptable education/experience combination.
• Proven success leading both perishable and non-perishable departments with P&L, safety, staffing, and merchandising.
• Strong written and verbal communication, detail-oriented and analytical.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of about ten department managers and receivers with respect and integrity.
• Drive sales, store performance, and customer satisfaction.
• Manage inventory, labor, and expenses to meet targets.
• Ensure compliance with safety, labeling, health, and sanitation standards.
• Oversee training, coaching, and development of leadership in-store.
