Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to direct all store business processes and drive sales, efficiency and customer advocacy. You will oversee a ~10 person team and ensure the store meets safety, labeling and sanitation standards while maintaining strong partner relationships.

The role requires leadership across both perishables and non-perishables, P&L accountability, and a commitment to superior customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in business, retail, marketing, or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of retail experience; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated success leading non-perishable and perishable department operations, including P&L, safety, staffing, and performance management.
• Professional communication skills, attention to detail, analytical, and solution-focused.

Responsibilities

• Lead a store team of approximately ten people to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Oversee inventory, labor, and expenses to meet sales targets as a rate to sales.
• Ensure compliance with safety, labeling, health, and sanitation standards across all departments.
• Maintain effective communication of expectations, policies, and product knowledge to store teams.
