Job summary

American Furniture Rentals is seeking a Special Events Account Executive for the NY Metro market to drive sales and client engagement in Secaucus, NJ. The role demands building relationships, conducting in-person meetings, and coordinating event furnishings with the inside sales team.

The candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or marketing and have a proven outside sales track record, including new account development and strong presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, or marketing.
• Proven outside sales track record with at least 2 years.
• Experience in new account business development.

Responsibilities

• Meet monthly sales goals with the inside sales team.
• Provide excellent customer service in person, by phone and email.
• Identify and research sales leads and visit potential clients.
• Develop a 12-month business plan with objectives and initiatives.
• Enter client and lead data into the CRM.
• Create client presentations for events and meetings.
• Assist clients in designing events using furniture and options.
• Clearly communicate rental policies to clients.
• Attend weekly Sales/Ops meetings.
• Attend 3–5 networking events monthly.
• Participate in regional calls and training.
• Assist in aging and billing communications.
