Job summary

ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education, a ChanceLight® company, seeks a Special Education Teacher to lead instructional planning for Elementary students with IEPs in a learning center or classroom.

You will deliver targeted instruction using innovative curricula, collaborate with staff, maintain PBIS-based classroom climate, and track progress toward individualized goals; a commitment to student growth and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field required.
• IL PEL credential or in process required.
• IL SSE or LBS1 credentials preferred or in process.

Responsibilities

• Lead instructional planning for Elementary students with IEPs.
• Deliver differentiated, targeted instruction.
• Collaborate with staff to implement PBIS strategies.
• Track and report student progress and outcomes.
• Maintain organized lesson plans and student files.
