Job summary

Century West BMW in North Hollywood, CA, is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to be the primary liaison between customers and our Service Department. You will guide customers through maintenance decisions, coordinate with technicians, and prepare estimates while keeping customers informed throughout the service journey.

The ideal candidate is personable, organized, detail-oriented, and driven to deliver outstanding customer experiences in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive dealership preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced dealership service environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and professionally and establish a positive rapport
• Obtain accurate customer and vehicle information and document concerns clearly
• Listen carefully to customer concerns and accurately communicate vehicle symptoms to technicians
• Recommend maintenance and repairs based on vehicle age, mileage, manufacturer recommendations, and service history
• Prepare accurate estimates for labor, parts, and recommended services
• Establish clear expectations and follow-up times with customers
• Monitor the progress of vehicles throughout the service process and provide timely updates
• Communicate additional repair recommendations and obtain customer authorization when necessary
• Coordinate loaner vehicles and rental transportation when applicable
• Review repair orders to ensure completed work, labor, parts, and charges are accurate
• Explain completed repairs and charges clearly to customers at vehicle delivery
• Address customer questions and concerns professionally and work toward positive resolutions
• Maintain accurate records and ensure all service documentation is complete
• Take ownership of the customer experience and consistently look for opportunities to exceed expectations
