Job summary

Pratt Industries in the Dallas–Fort Worth area seeks a dynamic Sales Representative to drive growth for our corrugated packaging products. This role emphasizes prospecting, relationship development, and value-based selling, collaborating with manufacturing, customer service, and quality teams to win first-time and repeat business.

Candidates should have outside selling experience, a valid driver’s license, and the drive to exceed quotas in a fast-growing company known as America’s 5th largest

Qualifications

• Outside selling experience or related experience and college coursework.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Ability to load and unload samples from vehicle.
• Preferred degree in graphics or packaging; experience in corrugated box industry welcome.

Responsibilities

• Keep an updated and accurate list of prospects and accounts.
• Analyze and qualify prospective accounts.
• Conduct initial contact and sales calls to accounts, selling and establishing relationships to produce first-time and repeat business.
• Surpass sales quota commitments for your area of responsibility.
• Implement sales strategies.
• Create and maintain customer and prospective relationships.
• Manage and close new sales.
• Pricing and value proposal creation.
• Managing working capital and improving cash flow.
• Work closely with plant management and fellow sales associates.
• Travel as necessary to cover territory and fulfill responsibilities.
• Stay current on competitive activity in the area.
