Job summary

UniFirst Corp. is seeking a Route Coverage Specialist to step in on delivery routes when Route Service Representatives are unavailable.

You will learn multiple routes, deliver garments and products, and ensure timely, high-quality service while maintaining safety and vehicle standards. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (or GED), a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and comfort with technology.

Qualifications

• Requires a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• DOT requirements including a physical exam.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to work independently.
• Experience in route sales, delivery, or similar roles is a plus.
• Comfortable using new technologies to improve efficiency.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Cover delivery routes when RSRs are unavailable.
• Deliver garments and products to customers along established routes.
• Safely load, unload, and transport goods; manage return of used items.
• Provide excellent customer service and build strong customer relationships.
• Handle invoices, inventory checks, and maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety.
• Follow safety regulations and company policies on the road.
• Collaborate with routing teams on installations, rerouting, and collections.
