Job summary

UniFirst Corp. is seeking a Route Coverage Specialist to step in on delivery routes when Route Service Representatives are unavailable, ensuring seamless service for customers. You will gain training across multiple routes and contribute to operational efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

You will load and deliver garments, maintain safety and vehicle appearance, and assist with account installations while building strong customer relationships and communicating feedback to leadership.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 with a valid license, clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• Meet DOT requirements, including a physical exam.
• High school diploma, GED, or military service required.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to work independently.
• Relevant experience in customer service, route sales, or delivery a plus.
• Tech-savvy and quick to learn new technologies to improve efficiency.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Develop proficiency across multiple routes to provide top-tier service.
• Deliver garments and products to customers along established routes.
• Provide excellent customer service through positive interactions and clear communication.
• Resolve customer requests independently with problem-solving skills.
• Manage invoices, conduct inventory audits, and maintain vehicle safety.
• Follow traffic laws, safety standards, and company policies.
• Support new account installations and assist RSRs on routes; upsell when appropriate.
• Share customer feedback with location leadership and monitor local competition.
