Job summary

Sonic Drive-In is seeking a General Manager to lead restaurant operations, oversee staff performance, and ensure excellent customer service. The role requires managing crew, carhops, and shifts while maintaining safety, quality, and financial targets.

The GM will open/close the restaurant, schedule personnel, monitor inventory, and implement marketing plans to drive sales. Strong leadership and knowledge of labor laws are essential to success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced studies preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of restaurant management experience (QSR preferred).
• Experience running shifts without supervision.
• Able to work 5 days a week with evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of labor laws and sanitation regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manages and coaches crew and management staff.
• Directs daily drive-in restaurant operations to meet standards.
• Ensures compliance with policies and procedures.
• Performs opening and closing duties.
• Prepares schedules and adjusts staffing levels.
• Monitors inventory and places supply orders within budget.
• Maintains payroll and personnel records.
• Fosters customer service focus and resolves guest concerns.
• Recruits and hires staff to achieve staffing goals.
