PACS is seeking a Staff Physical Therapist Assistant to assist the Staff Physical Therapist with resident-related activities and direct resident care in a facility setting. The role emphasizes accurate documentation, adherence to infection control, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to support progress and discharge planning.

Qualified candidates hold an Associate Degree in PTA, a state PTA license, and CPR if required.

Qualifications

• Must have an Associate Degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state.
• Maintain licensure in good standing with the state board and meet CE requirements.
• Proficient with documentation and data entry in health IT systems.
• CPR certification if required by licensure.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Physical Therapist with resident-related activities and direct resident care.
• Complete timely, accurate, and compliant documentation per facility and payer requirements.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment following infection control and safety protocols.
• Communicate progress, goals, and discharge plans to the team and families.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on treatment goals and home programs.
