Job summary

PACS is seeking a Staff Physical Therapist Assistant to support the Staff Physical Therapist with resident-related activities and direct resident care in our facility. The PTA will document per requirements, maintain infection control, and participate in rehab program development while assisting in training Restorative Aides.

The role requires an Associate Degree in PTA and active PTA licensure. Strong communication with the care team and families is essential to ensure safe, effective resident

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents under supervision of Physical Therapist.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation in compliance with facility and payer requirements.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment per infection control and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with care teams and communicate progress to physicians, nursing staff, and families.
• Educate residents and families on treatment goals, home exercise programs, and safety techniques.
• Assist in training Restorative Aides and participate in rehab program development.
