Job summary

PACS is seeking a Staff Physical Therapist Assistant to support the Physical Therapist in delivering resident care and maintaining treatment standards. The role emphasizes accurate documentation, safety, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to ensure progress and discharge planning.

Ideal candidates will hold an associate PTA degree, be licensed in the relevant state, and maintain CPR certification if required.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state.
• CPR certification, if required by licensure.
• Proficient computer skills including Net Health and Point Click Care.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents as directed by Physical Therapist.
• Complete timely, accurate, and compliant documentation.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment following infection control protocols.
• Communicate progress, goals, and discharge planning with the supervising PT and team.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on treatment goals and home programs.
