Job summary

PACS is seeking a Staff Physical Therapist Assistant to support the Staff Physical Therapist in resident care, documentation, and program delivery. This role emphasizes collaboration with interdisciplinary team and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

The PTA will assist with training, participate in care conferences, educate residents and families, and help select DME to promote mobility, while maintaining confidentiality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in the state and keep CE requirements.
• Proficient in clinical documentation and patient records.
• Ability to read and follow policy and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents as directed by Physical Therapist.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation per requirements.
• Maintain safe treatment environment and infection control.
• Communicate progress to physicians, staff, residents, and families.
• Educate residents and caregivers on home exercise and safety.
