Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with two years of professional experience.
• Associate degree with six years of professional experience.
• Professional experience required if master’s degree is held.
• Sensitivity to diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.

Responsibilities

• Meet classes/lab on assigned days and times.
• Develop and implement instruction per official course outline.
• Create and distribute a written syllabus for each course.
• Evaluate students’ progress and assign grades per policy.
• Advise students and refer to tutoring and student services as appropriate.
• Maintain office hours and participate in department activities.
