Job summary

Carle Health seeks a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our care team and implement the plan of care developed by the physical therapist for patients of all ages.

You will educate patients, families, and students, document communications in the daily notes, and deliver therapeutic interventions including exercise, gait training, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation. Aquatic therapy is available as part of the program.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required in Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Licensed PTA with applicable state licensure.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Educates patients and families using effective teaching methods.
• Follows plan of care and documents communications in daily notes.
• Performs therapeutic exercises, gait/balance training, ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
• Provides aquatic therapy and completes daily therapy documentation.
