Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in the applicable state, with IDFPR accreditation
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire as required
• Completion of continuing education focused on acute stroke care as needed by policy

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients of all ages and adjust care plans based on patient response and outcomes.
• Educate patients and families using effective teaching methods.
• Document findings and plans per CTSCP67 and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team and supervise PT aides as applicable.
• Ensure safe patient transfers and maintain body mechanics to reduce injury risk.
