Qualifications

• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in good standing with applicable board.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates ability to transfer patients safely with assistance.
• Applies proper body mechanics to prevent injuries.
• Develops and implements a plan of care with goals, treatment, outcomes and discharge plan.
• Educates patients, families, and staff using effective teaching methods.
• Evaluates clinical findings to determine PT diagnosis and outcomes.
• Completes examinations with reliable methods relevant to chief complaint and history.
• Documents per policy and billing requirements.
• Communicates progress and recommendations to referring provider.
