NYU Langone Health is hiring a Part Time Surgical Technologist for the KP 5 OR-Day Shift (28.50 hours). You will scrub on surgical procedures under the direction of a licensed nurse and assist the physician in procedural areas.

Responsibilities include preparing instruments, assisting on procedures as a secondary circulator, and ensuring proper specimen handling. BLS and NBSTSA-accredited training are required, with certification upon hire.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required.
• Graduate of NBSTSA-accredited Surgical Technologist program; certification upon hire.

Mansioni

• Scrub on all surgical procedures in the Operating Room under licensed nurse supervision.
• Assist physician in procedural areas with instruments and supplies.
• Prepare and provide supplies and equipment per procedure cards; escalate needs to RN Circulator.
