Qualifications

• Master's in anthropology or archaeology OR Bachelor's in either of the above AND Master's in sociology, biological sciences, forensic sciences, genetics or paleontology.
• All coursework must be from a recognized accredited college or university.
• Equivalent qualifications may be considered via equivalency review as outlined in the policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic instruction through lecture, lab, or performance courses and assess student learning outcomes.
• Advise and instruct students on programs of study and resources.
• Observe and evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback.
• Plan and organize instruction aligned with course outlines and student learning outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records of enrollment, progress, and outcomes; generate reports as needed.
• Select instructional materials in collaboration with discipline faculty; ensure timely delivery.
• Update course content in response to new theory and developments.
• Update syllabi and collaborate on measurable outcomes with faculty.
• Participate in curriculum development and committees as needed.
• Engage in articulation and matriculation activities if required.
• Provide work direction to others and perform related duties as assigned.
