Gwinnett County Public Schools is seeking a Paraprofessional Educator to support classroom instruction under supervision. You will assist teachers and students, monitor behavior, support learning activities, and help prepare instructional materials.

Candidates should have a Georgia PSC paraprofessional certificate or equivalent, a high school diploma, and familiarity with Microsoft Office; experience in licensed child care is preferred.

Formación

• Knowledge of child development.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Familiarity with office and media equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Assist teachers and students individually or in small groups, reinforcing instruction and supporting classroom management.
• Aid in supervision of learning activities and provide learning support to students.
• Provide prescribed instruction and reinforce skills taught by the supervising teacher, using engaging activities.
• Help check and evaluate students' work and maintain classroom order.
• Assist in lesson planning, preparation of materials, and tracking student progress.
• Support in diagnosing and monitoring student learning in math and communication skills.
• Prepare instructional materials and manage routine administrative tasks.
• Coordinate with media center staff and set up classroom equipment for lessons.
• Maintain attendance records, bus routes, and other required data.
