Job summary

Maner Builders Supply Co, a division of US LBM Holdings, LLC, is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to generate and secure new sales while maintaining existing accounts in the Augusta, GA region. You will promote products, respond to customer needs, read blueprints for estimating materials, and coordinate deliveries, pricing, and terms with contractors and builders.

This role requires 3 years of sales experience in building materials, strong negotiation skills, and 50% travel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3 years of sales experience in building materials or related industry required.
• Working knowledge of building materials industry and products; ability to negotiate prices and contractual agreements.
• Estimating from blueprints; ability to use calculator and computer.
• Strategic mindset; planning and prioritizing to meet goals.
• Business insight; understanding market dynamics and margins.
• Collaborates with others to meet shared objectives.
• Effective communication across multi-mode channels.

Responsibilities

• Promote, sell, and secure new accounts for the company.
• Provide existing accounts with products, time, and information.
• Assist with product selection for customer needs.
• Prepare and input orders; coordinate pricing, terms, delivery dates, and service obligations.
• Resolve customer complaints and problems; assist in collections of receivables.
• Coordinate project schedules and material deliveries.
• Maintain knowledge of daily/monthly sales relative to budget and margins.
