Job summary

Flagger Force is seeking an Operation Support Specialist to meet client demand through effective dispatch and comprehensive job support. You will apply SOPs, build relationships with field leadership, and accurately record incidents with clear escalation paths.

Responsibilities include customer-focused dispatch during storms, maintaining policy knowledge, and using internal systems and GPS tools to optimize routes. Safety, accuracy, and cross-functional collaboration are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• 1+ year experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Prioritization and problem solving abilities.
• Dispatching experience preferred.
• Critical thinking and decision making skills.
• Active listening and interpersonal skills.
• Must wear steel-toed boots or obtain upon employment.

Responsibilities

• Understand and apply all SOPs to daily tasks.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with Field Leadership for the best client experience.
• Capture and record incidents and escalate as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service with appropriate escalation/de-escalation.
• Work quickly and accurately during Storm Response.
• Maintain knowledge of office and field policies to assist staff.
• Monitor and share information using internal software.
• Use GPS tracking to monitor field locations and optimize dispatch routes.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to meet client needs timely and safely.
• Understand workzones, equipment, and staffing requirements.
• Relay essential information to field leadership and clients about Pre Construction processes.
• Prioritize safety in all decision making for client orders.
• Understand order dispatch including timing, totals, criticality, and status.
• Demonstrate creative problem solving to find viable solutions.
• Relate client impacts including severity, notifications, and documentation.
• Accurately relay info among field staff, leadership, clients, and safety.
• Know company footprint and core areas.
• Maintain professionalism, integrity, and initiative; assist with other duties as needed.
