Job summary

Flagger Force is seeking an Operation Support Specialist to meet client demand through effective dispatch and comprehensive job support. The role emphasizes SOP adherence, strong communication, safety, and rapid response during storms.

You will work with field leadership to ensure a positive client experience and maintain accurate incident records. Ideal candidates bring a High School Diploma, 1+ year MS Office experience, and a customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Teams)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Experience in problem solving and dispatching
• Strong critical thinking and decision making abilities
• Active listening and interpersonal skills
• Ability to wear steel-toed boots or obtain footwear prior to employment

Responsibilities

• Understand and apply SOPs to daily tasks.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with Field Leadership for client experience.
• Record incidents reported by field personnel and identify escalation paths.
• Provide excellent customer service with appropriate escalation/de-escalation.
• Work quickly and accurately during Storm Response.
• Maintain knowledge of office and field policies to assist staff.
• Monitor and share information using internal software and systems.
• Utilize GPS tracking to monitor field locations for dispatch routing.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to meet client needs in a timely, safe manner.
• Understand workzones, equipment, and staffing needs.
• Relay imperative information to field leadership and clients for Pre Construction.
• Prioritize safety in all order decisions.
• Understand dispatch basics: times, totals, criticality, status.
• Demonstrate creative problem-solving with multiple viable solutions.
• Relay information to/from field employees, leadership, clients, management, safety.
• Know company footprint and mobilization areas.
• Maintain professionalism, honesty and a positive attitude; willingness to learn and perform other duties.
