The Virginia Department of Health is seeking an Office Services Specialist to support daily office operations and ensure staff have resources for success. You will contribute to a welcoming, professional environment while delivering high-quality service to colleagues and the public.

This restricted, EC-SDC-funded position runs through 2027-06-30, with funding reviewed annually. Wage employees enjoy limited benefits and are paid for actual hours worked.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of office and administrative principles and practices.
• Working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software applications.
• Ability to interpret and follow established procedures and guidelines.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers, verbally and in writing.
• Considerable skill in the operation of standard office equipment.
