Job summary

CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC is seeking a seasoned Loan Processor in Tucson to ensure accurate loan documentation, timely underwriting, and adherence to mortgage regulations. You will coordinate with customers, loan officers, and underwriters to collect all required items and maintain compliance throughout the process.

The role requires strong communication, 5+ years of experience, and proficiency with Encompass and DU/LP to support efficient loan processing and accurate disclosures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years residential mortgage processing experience.
• Experience with Encompass and mortgage documents.

Responsibilities

• Review borrower credit, income, assets, and employment for underwriting.
• Assemble loan package in proper order for underwriting.
• Verify required documentation and pre-underwrite items.
• Prepare loan approval summaries and required disclosures.
• Communicate with Loan Originator, customers, and Underwriter to obtain missing documents.
• Ensure compliance with mortgage regulations (RESPA, TIL, Reg B/Z).
• Coordinate with third parties to obtain surveys, certificates, title, and payoff information.
• Maintain loan pipeline and timely submission of reports.
