Job summary

You will collaborate with drivers and internal teams to keep shipments moving. This is a fast-paced, detail-oriented role requiring MS Office skills, basic typing, and the ability to prioritize tasks, including early mornings and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service experience preferred.
• Experience in a fast-paced work environment; strong attention to detail.
• Basic typing skills and MS Office proficiency.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines; effective as an individual or team member.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings and non-traditional holidays.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling pick-ups, tracing shipments, providing shipment ETAs, rate quotes, and/or freight charges.
• Coordinating with internal departments, partners, delivery agents, brokers, and container stations to schedule shipments and handle customer issues.
• Scheduling delivery appointments and handling re-consignments.
• Communicating with customers, drivers, and Accounts Receivable regarding Driver Collect and C.O.D. shipments.
• Ensuring accurate billing of shipments.
• Compiling and delivering custom reports; daily audits of reports.
• Documenting all customer interactions for follow-up and record keeping.
