Live! Hospitality & Entertainment is seeking a Cook to support daily kitchen operations. You will prepare and cook orders, manage inventory, and uphold sanitation standards. You’ll work with a team to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction, while following recipes and portion controls.

The role requires one year of experience in a fast-paced kitchen, culinary training preferred, and flexibility for nights and weekends. This position is on-site in a busy hospitality setting.

Qualifikationen

• At least one year of cooking on a fast-paced kitchen line.
• Culinary training or certification preferred.
• Knowledge of recipes, portion control, and presentation.
• Strong communication with cooks, wait staff and supervisors.
• Reading and writing abilities used for recipes and inventory.
• Basic math skills including percentages and quantities.
• Alcohol awareness or food handler certification required.
• May be scheduled for nights, weekends, and holidays.

Aufgaben

• Control food usage to minimize waste.
• Prepare and cook orders for daily operations in a timely manner.
• Advise supervisor of low inventory items and assist in receiving/inventory.
• Restock items through the shift.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness meeting health board and company standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area including reach-ins and counters.
• Report unsafe or malfunctioning equipment to supervisor.
• May assist with ware washing or other kitchen duties.
• Promote teamwork and quality service and coordinate with other departments; may interact with guests.
• Perform more than one task at a time
