Job summary

Live! Hospitality & Entertainment is seeking a Cook to support daily kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment. You will cook and prepare orders, help with inventory, and maintain high sanitation standards in the kitchen.

The role requires basic cooking skills, ability to follow recipes, and willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Experience on a fast-paced line and culinary certification are preferred and encouraged.

Qualifications

• Fast-paced kitchen line experience required.
• Culinary certified training preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and maintain portion control.
• Able to work nights, weekends, or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Control food usage to minimize waste.
• Prepare and cook orders for daily operations in a timely manner.
• Advise supervisor of low inventory items; assist in receiving items and taking inventory as required.
• Restock items as needed through the shift.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness standards in the kitchen area that meet or exceed health regulations.
• Maintain a clean, neat and well-organized work area including reach-ins and counters.
• Report unsafe or malfunctioning equipment to supervisor.
• May assist with ware washing or other kitchen duties.
• Promote teamwork and coordinate with other departments; may interact with guests.
• Perform more than one task at a time.
