Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Floating Leasing Consultant to coordinate rentals, move-ins, move-outs, and renewals across multiple properties. You will interact with prospective and current residents to maximize occupancy and ensure client satisfaction.

The role emphasizes excellent customer service, strong organizational skills, and experience with leasing processes and Yardi Voyager. Training and a supportive, growth-oriented culture are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Minimum of one year of previous sales experience is preferred.
• One year of previous residential leasing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all activities related to apartment rentals, move-ins, move-outs, and lease renewals.
• Interact directly with prospective and current residents to achieve maximum occupancy and ensure resident retention and client satisfaction.
• Generate and handle traffic, qualify prospective residents, lease apartments, prepare lease documentation, and complete move-in paperwork and processes.
• Ensure model apartments are in touring condition.
• Orient prospective and current residents to the property and process renewal paperwork monthly.
• Maintain accurate records of traffic activity and follow up with prospective residents via phone, mail or email.
• Convert phone traffic into scheduled appointments for tours and communicate move-in/out schedules with maintenance.
