Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Degree or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2–4 years in sales and sales administration; productive contributor.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and work in a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Obtains orders through email and telephone calls and enters items.
• Suggests related items to increase orders and checks buying history.
• Owns and develops opportunities from marketing and outside sales.
• Identifies ways to continuously improve processes.
• Prepares quotations to secure orders or analyze losses.
• Reviews open orders and addresses items at risk of delay.
• Maintains backorder and expediting reports and notifies customers.
• Reports industry trends and customer feedback to management.
