• High School Degree or Equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Requires knowledge and experience in sales and sales administration; 2–4 years.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously; works well in a team.
• Willing to travel 0%–25%.

Responsibilities

• Obtains orders through email and phone, verifies items, and enters orders.
• Increases orders by suggesting related items and leveraging customer history.
• Owns and develops opportunities passed from marketing, outside sales, and national accounts.
• Identifies ways for continuous process improvement.
• Prepares quotations to secure orders or analyze lost opportunities.
• Reviews open order reports and handles items at risk of delivery dates.
• Maintains backorder and expediting reports and notifies customers.
