Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Admin or related field.
• Two or more years of direct HR experience.
• High proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with HRIS platforms, preferably Colleague.
• Higher education HR processes experience is a plus.
• HR certification (SHRM-CP/PHR) preferred.
• Experience with Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Provide Employee Relations support to management and employees.
• Support performance management, progressive discipline, and off-boarding.
• Conduct internal investigations and handle sensitive employee issues.
• Coach managers through disciplinary processes.
• Assist in non-renewal meetings with managers and employees (annually).
• Administer LMS and coordinate professional development for staff and faculty.
• Prepare and compile HR reports and mandated wage/benefits reports.
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding.
• Backup recruiting and applicant processing.
• Maintain HR data accuracy in HR systems.
