Job summary

Elite Home Health is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (Full Time) to provide treatment and instruction under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. The role supports improving patient well-being within the established care plan, across home health settings.

Responsibilities include guiding active and passive exercises, gait training, and coordinating with the care team while ensuring compliance with state laws. Weekend availability is required and CPR is preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed PTA in practicing state.
• Current driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Available to work a weekend rotation.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and transfers.

Responsibilities

• Follow state-specific laws and plan of care under supervising PT.
• Instruct patients in active and passive exercises and gait training.
• Observe and report patient responses; coordinate with care team.
• Educate patient, family, and caregivers within PTA scope.
• Adapt to home environments regardless of age, race, or disability.
