Job summary

UnitedHealth Group’s Elite Home Health is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to support patients in home care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. You will provide exercise instruction and patient education aimed at improving well-being according to the plan of care, in a setting that emphasizes compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Current, licensed PTA in state of practice.
• Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
• Available to work a weekend rotation.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws governing physical therapy in home care and follow the supervising PT's plan of care.
• Instruct patients in active and passive exercise, gait, ADLs, transfer and mobility.
• Observe and report patient responses to treatment; coordinate with the care team.
