Job summary

Associated Home Care is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to oversee a group of clients and caregivers in Fall River, MA. You will ensure complete client schedules, optimize caregiver calendars, and maintain top-level service while coordinating with families, case managers, and staff.

Responsibilities include handling referrals, monitoring service changes, confirming schedules, and providing on-call coverage as needed to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Scheduling experience preferred and strong customer service skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, able to work with diverse groups.
• Reliable, organized, flexible and self-directed in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid skills with Microsoft Office and Teams; good judgment for multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Directly coordinates schedules for an assigned group of clients and caregivers.
• Problem solves concerns and questions regarding client and caregiver schedules.
• Coordinate new referrals/intakes and introduce services to clients.
• Monitor service logs to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Identify clients and schedule with caregivers of appropriate skill level.
• Confirm all schedules with clients, case managers, and designees.
• Schedule nursing intros and orientations as needed.
• Report changes in client status to supervisors and care teams.
• Coach caregivers on tardiness, dress code, and client concerns; document findings.
• Communicate with nursing team regarding client/caregiver needs.
• Participate in recruitment/on-boarding activities and staffing.
• Provide rotating night and weekend on-call coverage as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
