Job summary

Fortis Fire & Safety seeks a detail‑oriented Service Coordinator in Clearwater, FL to support our service operations team. You will dispatch field technicians for inspections, maintenance, testing, repairs, and emergencies across fire protection systems.

The role emphasizes coordinating schedules, maintaining clear customer communication, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering excellent service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years in service coordination, dispatch, scheduling, customer service, logistics, or field service operations.
• Strong proficiency with Outlook and Excel, and CRM/FSM software.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced service environment.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch field technicians for preventive maintenance, inspections, testing, repair work, and emergency service calls.
• Coordinate daily service schedules based on routing, priorities, technician availability, and licenses or certifications.
• Monitor technician workloads and adjust schedules to meet demand.
• Coordinate rental equipment, materials, and parts for scheduled service work.
• Maintain on-call schedules for after-hours emergency response.
• Serve as primary contact for customers regarding service requests and updates.
• Communicate proactively with customers and stakeholders on arrival times and status.
