Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is hiring a Building Maintenance Technician to support operation, troubleshooting, and repairs across commercial properties. You will handle a wide range of systems, perform preventive maintenance, and respond to emergencies.

The role requires 2+ years in a commercial setting, a valid driver's license, and basic computer skills. On-site work with a focus on safety and efficient facility operations is essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience in a commercial property setting.
• HVAC, electrical, mechanical, painting, plumbing, carpentry or engine repair training/experience.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.
• Basic computing skills in Outlook, Excel & Word.
• Willingness to respond to emergencies and work overtime if needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems.
• Clean, lubricate, and service pumps, valves, controls, and electrical/mechanical devices.
• Install or modify building equipment and systems.
• Repair finishes such as ceilings, door hardware, walls, and floors.
• Inspect for unsafe conditions and perform preventative maintenance.
• Operate fire and life safety systems and comply with safety regulations.
• Respond to emergencies and customer service requests.
• Use building automation systems and mobile devices for monitoring.
